Itinerary

Meet the tour leader at Malta International Airport to check in for your flight to Bombay with transit.

Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will be transfered to your hotel for check in. Known as Bombay in colonial times, Mumbai today is one of India’s most cosmopolitan cities. Marvel at the towering Gateway of India, the enormous arch that’s one of India’s most recognizable symbols. Hop aboard one of the many boats bound for Elephant Island and head to Shri Mahalakshmi temple, pay homage to the garland-adorned statues of three goddesses within and take in the bright white facade of the 15th-century mosque Haji Ali.

Enjoy some free time until it’s time to depart for your transfer to cruise port for check in.

Although it’s India’s smallest state, Goa packs in big-time oceanside enjoyment, with long beaches flanked by lush palm forests. Old Goa is a wonderland for admirers of Portuguese-colonial architecture, with an array of churches and other monuments that date back as far as the 16th-century. Discover the building blocks of spicy Goan cuisine with a trip to Dudhsagar Plantation in Karmane to see how popular Indian spices like cardamom and pepper are grown. Watch the goldsmiths in action at Mapusa Municipal Market or visit Aparant Handicraft Emporia in Margao to browse an impressive collection of Goan lacquerware.

Enjoy your day sailing and exploring this marvellous ship with all the facilities it has to offer.

Sri Lanka’s captivating capital is an eye-opening introduction to one of travel’s best-kept secrets. Stop at Gangaramaya Temple, and marvel at endless rows of Buddha images or thick, twisty Bodhisattva trees adorned with colourful sashes; step inside the vermilion facade of Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque, whether to enjoy a moment of silence or look in on harmonious unison of the call to prayer. Slip off your shoes and sink your toes into the golden sand of Colombo’s Galle Face Green beach and enjoy the famously strong sea breeze rustling through your hair. Head to Pettah Market, near Colombo Railway Station, for the city’s most authentic shopping experience. Browse colourful Sri Lankan Raksha masks, which are said to ward off evil, or sample some of the island’s finest Ceylon tea.

In Hambantota you’ll find dazzling exotic blooms at the Mirijjawila Botanic Gardens. Glide through the emerald-green winding waterways of the Walawe River on a rainforest safari where you can discover many varieties of mangroves, bird species, deer and water buffalo. Take in a cricket match at the town’s Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium, or join an adventurous trek to search for leopards and elephants in the wild in Yala National Park.

You’ll find plenty of options onboard to tease your taste buds. At the heart of The Spa, the SEA Thermal Suite is a playground for the senses with eight distinct spaces to navigate your own path to wellness. At every turn of your sailing, you’ll find ways to fully restore yourself.

The island of Phuket is often called the Pearl of Thailand. Start your day by diving right in at Kata Noi Beach, a smaller, more secluded spot where you can soak in the sun and sand and unwind. Head to the nearby Karon Viewpoint for unparalleled views of the Andaman Sea and the area’s lush mountainous landscape. In town, see the Big Buddha of Phuket, the white marble likeness of the holy figure stands 45 m tall, or hike up to the statue itself, which is surprisingly uncrowded. Do not miss the elaborate temple of Wat Chalong and its Grand Pagoda, where it’s believed a splinter of bone from the Buddha himself resides.

Penang is rich in diverse cultural influences thanks to its history as a trading centre between India, China, Britain and the Middle East. Head to historic George Town, the island’s capital city, where bicycles and trishaws (three-wheeled, pedal-powered vehicles) dart along narrow streets lined with mural-adorned buildings and varied architecture. Step into the oldest Anglican church in Southeast Asia at St. George’s or check out the Kapitan Keling Mosque. Then, take the tram up to the cooler, minty-fresh air of Penang Hill - walk through the bird sanctuary or one of the nature trails and take in views of the city below and the mountains in the distance.

Home to nearly 2 million people, Malaysia’s bustling capital Kuala Lumpur is a massive city of skyscrapers and historic architecture. See the Petronas Towers, the tallest twin towers in the world, with their ultra-modern style and contrasting traditional motifs from Islamic art. Then, stroll down to KLCC Park and walk around its man-made lake and fountain backdropped by the modern skyline. Explore the historic side of Kuala Lumpur at the iconic Thean Hou Temple, with its red pillars, intricate carvings and decorative artifacts from Buddhist, Confucian and Tao tradition. Or see the Moorish architecture of Jamek Mosque, situated at the crossing of the Klang and Gombak rivers.

Your amazing adventure has come to an end, but the memories will remain with you forever. After breakfast, you will disembark the ship and be transferred to Singapore airport to check in for your return flight to Malta (with transit).
