Meet the tour leader at Malta International Airport at 0515hrs, to check for on Air Malta flight to London. Upon your arrival at Heathrow airport, you will be transferred to Southampton port for check-in formalities, to board Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas. Once on board, you are free to explore the facilities and décor of this magnificent floating resort. Get ready for the safety drill on board and then make sure you go on the upper deck to enjoy the experience as your ship leaves the port at 17:00hrs.

You’ll be delighted by the optional half-day scenic drive and walking tour exploring Kristiansand’s storied history, which includes a fishing village, museum and historic high street. First, visit the civic center and absorb the city’s colourful past along historic old high street. Then admire colourful wooden houses and a picturesque harbour on a guided walk of Høllen’s historic “Fishing Village.” At the open-air Vest-Agder Folk Museum, visit more than 40 historic buildings from the Setesdal Valley.
Your next port of call will be Alesund, one of Norway’s most picturesque and charming fishing ports. Enjoy a three-hour optional excursion that takes you from the Atlantic Sea-Park to a sightseeing drive around Alesund, enjoying sweeping views of the city from the Hessa viewpoint. As one of Northern Europe’s largest aquariums, the Atlantic Sea-Park showcases sea life from the Norwegian coast and fjords. Outside you’ll encounter Humboldt Penguins and see Harbour Seals splashing around the waters of Sealbay. You’ll then embark on a narrated sightseeing drive around Alesund, learning about the area’s thriving fisheries industry, hearing tales of the destructive fire of 1904, and admiring the distinctive Art Nouveau architecture that rose from the ashes.
Bergen, known as the “Gateway to the Fjords” is Norway’s second largest city. Join today’s optional excursion and explore the city on foot, the unique UNESCO medieval settlement, wander around the narrow cobblestone streets and learn about the area’s unique architecture and culture. It was one of the four major overseas trading posts of the German Hanseatic League. Visit the Bryggen Wharf, definitely one of the highlights of Bergen, then hop on board a funicular (included) to enjoy panoramic views over Mount Floyen.
Delight in Stavanger’s breath-taking natural scenery on a 2.5-hour easy-going boat ride through the majestic Lysefjord. Set sail across the Stavanger Archipelago alongside a knowledgeable guide, as you hear legends of the Vikings and admire spectacular coastal views. Behold Perikestolen, “the Pulpit Rock”, which soars 1,982 feet above the water, while floating through glacier-carved Lysefjord. Ship will stay in Stavanger overnight.
Stavanger delights with its mix of old-world charm and modern bustle. The centre of Norway’s North Sea oil production, the port sits on scenic archipelago nestled between imposing mountains and sandy beaches. Beautifully preserved ‘’Old Stavanger’’ is a real treat for the eyes and is ripe with photography opportunities. Wander cobblestone streets lined with a picturesque, whitewashed wooden homes dating back to the late 18th century. Their doll house perfection and carefully groomed flower boxes help to create the illusion of stepping back through time.
Participate in one of the wide array of activities organized during your last cruise day and let yourself be pampered by the attentive staff on board. You will be instructed to leave your luggage outside your stateroom by midnight, as bags will be transported ashore by the ship’s personnel early next morning.
Ship docks in Southampton at 0530hrs. Enjoy your last breakfast on board as your cruise holiday comes to an end. Once ashore, a coach will be in attendance for your transfer to Gatwick Airport to check in for your Air Malta flight scheduled to depart at 1155hrs. Expected time of arrival in Malta at 1600hrs.
