Arrive in Haugesund, a coastal city closely connected with Norway’s Viking heritage. During your time ashore, you may visit Haraldshaugen, Norway’s national monument commemorating the unification of the country, enjoy sweeping views from Steinsfjellet, or travel to historic Avaldsnes and St Olav’s Church, an area associated with Norway’s early kings.

The journey into Skjolden is part of the experience itself, taking you deep into the spectacular Sognefjord landscape. From here, possible excursions include the medieval Urnes Stave Church, scenic journeys along the dramatic Sognefjellet mountain road, or an excursion towards Nigardsbreen Glacier, surrounded by some of Norway’s wildest mountain scenery.

Wake to one of the most beautiful corners of Nordfjord. Olden is an excellent gateway to the Briksdal Glacier, reached through a dramatic valley of waterfalls and soaring peaks. Alternatively, admire the tranquil waters of Oldevatnet Lake or travel to nearby Loen and ride the Loen Skylift to Mount Hoven for extraordinary views across the fjords and mountains.

Spend the day in Stavanger, where historic streets sit beside one of Norway’s most impressive fjord regions. Wander through Gamle Stavanger, known for its traditional wooden houses, visit the fascinating Norwegian Petroleum Museum, or take a cruise through Lysefjord, where sheer cliffs rise dramatically from the water beneath the famous Preikestolen - Pulpit Rock.

Enjoy a final day on board as the ship makes its way back across the North Sea. Take time to relax, revisit your favourite corners of the ship and enjoy the last hours of your cruise after a memorable journey through Norway’s fjords, glaciers and historic coastal towns.

Arrive in Southampton in the early morning. Following breakfast, disembark and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Malta, bringing an unforgettable Norwegian fjords adventure to a close.
