Itinerary

Meet your tour leader at Malta International Airport to check in for your international flight to Singapore with transit.

Upon arrival in Singapore, you shall be transferred to your hotel for room allocation. You may wish to join the tour leader for a familiarization walk around.

After breakfast explore this global, compact, and fascinating city. Prior to your cruise, visit the Chinese quarter, and the colorful Hindu temples. Admire the huge Merlion statue, which is one of the city’s symbols. A coach will transfer you to the cruise port for embarkation on the Celebrity Millennium. Ship will set sail at 20:00hrs.

Home to nearly 2 million people, Malaysia’s bustling capital Kuala Lumpur is a massive city of skyscrapers and historic architecture. See the Petronas Towers, the tallest twin towers in the world, with their ultra-modern style and contrasting traditional motifs from Islamic art. Then, stroll down to KLCC Park and walk around its man-made lake and fountain backdropped by the modern skyline. Cruise to Malaysia and explore the historic side of Kuala Lumpur at the iconic Thean Hou Temple, with its red pillars, intricate carvings and decorative artifacts from Buddhist, Confucian, and Tao tradition. Or see the Moorish architecture of Jamek Mosque, situated at the crossing of the Klang and Gombak rivers.

Penang is rich in diverse cultural influences thanks to its history as a trading centre between India, China, Britain, and the Middle East. Head to historic George Town, the island’s capital city, where bicycles and trishaws (three-wheeled, pedal-powered vehicles) dart along narrow streets lined with mural-adorned buildings and varied architecture. Cruise to Penang to step into the oldest Anglican church in Southeast Asia at St. George’s or check out the Kapitan Keling Mosque. Then, take the tram up to the cooler, minty-fresh air of Penang Hill - walk through the bird sanctuary or one of the nature trails and take in views of the city below and the mountains in the distance.

The island of Phuket (pronounced “Poo-ket”) is often called the Pearl of Thailand. Start your day by diving right in - literally - at Kata Noi Beach, a smaller, more secluded spot where you can soak in the sun and sand and unwind. Head to the nearby Karon Viewpoint for unparalleled views of the Andaman Sea and the area’s lush mountainous landscape. In town, see the Big Buddha of Phuket, the white marble likeness of the holy figure stands 45 meters tall, or hike up to the statue itself, which is surprisingly uncrowded. Do not miss the elaborate temple of Wat Chalong and its Grand Pagoda, where it’s believed a splinter of bone from the Buddha himself resides.

On your first sea day, you will have the opportunity to discover and make use of the varied facilities on board. Join the aerobics class with qualified instructors or simply relax by the pool. The ship’s animators will be organizing varied activities by the pool deck and other locations across the ship. Every evening the sea sparkles with dazzling entertainment. Designed to indulge your individual preferences, Celebrity entertainment choices range from Broadway-style productions, captivating shows and lively discotheques to the glamour and excitement of Monte Carlo-style casinos and speciality lounges.

In Hambantota you’ll find dazzling exotic blooms at the Mirijjawila Botanic Gardens. Glide through the emerald-green winding waterways of the Walawe River on a rainforest safari where you can discover many varieties of mangroves, bird species, deer and water buffalo. Take in a cricket match at the town’s Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium, or join an adventurous trek to search for leopards and elephants in the wild in Yala National Park.

Sri Lanka’s captivating capital is an eye-opening introduction to one of travel’s best-kept secrets.
Stop at Gangaramaya Temple, and marvel at endless rows of Buddha images or thick, twisty Bodhisattva trees adorned with colourful sashes; step inside the vermilion facade of Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque, whether to enjoy a moment of silence or look in on harmonious unison of the call to prayer. Slip off your shoes and sink your toes into the golden sand of Colombo’s Galle Face Green beach and enjoy the famously strong sea breeze rustling through your hair. Head to Pettah Market, near Colombo Railway Station, for the city’s most authentic shopping experience. Browse colourful Sri Lankan Raksha masks, which are said to ward off evil, or sample some of the island’s finest Ceylon tea.

his port city offers a picturesque, seaside stop unlike any other ports. With influences from British, Dutch, and Portuguese settlement over the past 500 or so years, Cochin feels especially global, whether you’re stopping for coffee at the local Kashi Art Cafe or touring Fort Kochi on your own. See the famous Chinese fishing nets, one of the most photographable spots in Cochin, and peruse the catches of the day with the local fishermen. Or take an excursion beyond Kochi to Alappuzha during your Cochin cruise, indulging in thali and kebabs after a day’s boat ride on the Arabian Sea. Luckily, Cochin itself is pretty walkable, and most sights are close to one another. Less bustling than Mumbai, Cochin retains a small town charm ideal for unhurried exploration.

Today shall be another day at sea and so another day to relax and unwind! Sun worshippers may lay down on a sun-bed or deck chair by the pool lapping in the sun. And what about pleasing your taste buds! Dining is about more than just food. Think ambience, variety, and the flexibility to decide when and what you savour.

Although it’s India’s smallest state, Goa packs in big-time oceanside enjoyment, with long beaches flanked by lush palm forests. Old Goa is a wonderland for admirers of Portuguese-colonial architecture, with an array of churches and other monuments that date back as far as the 16th-century. Discover the building blocks of spicy Goan cuisine with a trip to Dudhsagar Plantation in Karmane to see how popular Indian spices like cardamom and pepper are grown. Watch the goldsmiths in action at Mapusa Municipal Market or visit Aparant Handicraft Emporia in Margao to browse an impressive collection of Goan lacquerware.

Mumbai is India’s largest city, full of energy and character that few cities can imitate. The city provides an experience that combines thousands of years of history with a modern, bustling hub for business, leisure, and more than a dash of glamor. Sip a gin cocktail in one of the city’s many speakeasy lounges, then tour the ornate Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, one of the city’s most fashionable addresses. Don’t miss a stroll or a car ride along Mumbai’s Marine Drive, also known as the Queen’s Necklace, where you’ll be able to enjoy views of the Arabian Sea and the Mumbai skyline.

Your amazing adventure has come to an end, but the memories will remain with you forever. After breakfast, you will disembark the ship and be transferred to Mumbai airport to check in for your return flight to Malta (with transit). Arrival in Malta will be on the next day (08 Dec).
