Itinerary

Meet with the tour leader at the Malta International Airport to check-in on your flight to Bremen with transit. Upon arrival, a coach will be in attendance to transfer you to a hotel in Bremen for and overnight stay on B&B Basis.

After breakfast we will have some leisure time and in the afternoon a coach will transfer you to Bremerhaven cruise port for the embarkation.

Today your first day at sea awaits you on board. Discover the large selection of restaurants and bistro and embark on a culinary journey around the world you are spoiled for choice as to which restaurant or bistro you would like to try first.

Alesund is a small but lively city with a unique modern feel. A rebuilding effort following a major fire in 1904 gave the city its distinctive Art Nouveau. From the city park, walk up the 418 steps to the city’s peak, Aksla - you’ll be rewarded with a gorgeous panoramic view on the city, the islands and the rugged Sunnmorsalpane mountain range. Head to Atlanterhavsparken, a 4-million-liter aquarium just three kilometres from the town centre. The place is teeming North Atlantic undersea life. Kids can feed the fish at the touch pool, and there are also penguin and seal exhibits. Admire the coastal scenery from the walking trails that start here.

Jaw-dropping views of the Norwegian fjords, welcome you to Geiranger. Considered the most beautiful in Norway, the Geirangerfjord astonishes with its power and beauty. There are various ways to experience this natural wonder: hiking, kayaking, biking or enjoying the views from a high mountain summit. The fjord stretches inland some 10 miles, surrounded with towering mountainside and fed by gushing waterfalls, including the Seven Sisters, the Suitor, and the Bridal Veil. A short stop in Hellesylt after the ship calls in Geiranger.

Between scenery scoping and memory making, you will have the time of your life while sailing from one breathtaking location to another.

The classic North Pole expeditions started from here. Today, the northernmost university city in the world offers a lively culture and restaurant scene. Visit the Arctic Cathedral, one of Norway’s most idiosyncratic churches. Excursions to the surrounding area are also worthwhile. Idyllic fishing villages and bustling bird islands await here. If you get cold, this is the ideal place to toast the national drink, aquavit. Skal!

Situated above the Arctic Circle, Honningsvag is surrounded by fjords and waterfalls, offering views across the sea to the Svalbard Islands and the North Pole. First settled more than 10 thousand years ago, today you’ll find a modern downtown area around the harbour. Shops sell local crafts, including traditional Sami jewellery, as well as sleek Scandinavian home decor. Jump onboard a Norwegian fjords cruise and watch the indigenous Sami people herd reindeer through the area, and explore the history of the area at the Nordkappmuseet.

Enjoy more beautiful days onboard. Relax and enjoy the beautiful amenities the ship has to offer. Sip a nice long drink listening to the waves or immerse yourself in an exciting thriller or romantic book whilst relaxing on deck.

Flam is a small Norwegian tourist town with around 450 inhabitants. It lies at the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord, which forms part of the 204 km long Sognefjord. Surrounded by steep mountains, roaring waterfalls and green valleys, Norway’s unique landscapes are presented here, leaving the visitor in awe. Flam is also Norway’s busiest cruise port. The Flam Railway starts not far from the ship, a convenient way to take an impressive trip to the beauties of nature. It twists between Fjords and the sea spectacularly up the mountain. One can also hike on one of the different trails on an individual discovery tour.

Enjoy your last day aboard. Don’t miss out to shop for variety name-branded items and some last-minute duty-free shopping. You will be instructed to leave your luggage outside your stateroom by midnight, as bags will be transported ashore by the ship’s personnel early next morning.

Enjoy your last breakfast on board, as your scenic holiday comes to an end. A private coach will take you to Bremen airport for check-in to your return flight.
